Yasmine Skalli (she/her) graduated from the Ohio State University in 2025 as a geography major with an emphasis on human geography. During her time at OSU, she worked on a number of projects examining community development and place-making practices of marginalized local populations. As a pre-doctoral research associate through ISR’s Junior Professional Researcher Program, she is working to develop decolonial, participatory based research methodologies to enhance community relationships and wellness in a way that contributes meaningfully to social justice.
