BIO

Donna Jawad is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Michigan Center for Contextual Factors in Alzheimer’s Disease (MCCFAD). She also serves in a dual role with the Alzheimer’s Association as Program Manager for the Middle Eastern North African (MENA) community. Donna graduated from Madonna University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She also earned a certification in Dementia from Eastern Michigan University and holds a Master of Science degree with a concentration in dementia, gerontology, and nutrition. In addition to her professional roles, Donna is the co-founder and director of the Islamic Center of America Senior Circle program, which she has led with her team for nine years. Donna is also a longtime board member of the Islamic Center of America Ladies Luncheon Committee. She enjoys planning both family and community events.
